The Hub recently wrote a great article on the lack of humorous YA books out today. Now, I remember how serious and morose I was at fifteen, but I always enjoyed a good laugh! Luckily, their blog found a few chuckle-worthy reads for lovers of teen books. Check out The Hub's article,

Great post! I personally try to seek out humorous books and I have always preferred comedy to drama. When I do come across a really funny one (especially if it's paranormal such as Kiersten White's Paranormalcy), I make sure to mention that it's funny just because it seems so rare.
